The Portal

This work presents a portal living within time, space, and our shared humanity. It invites us to care for and honor our natural resources while praising water as the ultimate healer of thirst. The dominant blue and gloomy tones embody a profound sadness for deforestation, the rape of the land, and the desecration of our planet. Trees possess the wisdom and power to heal the planet and us alike. Ultimately, these visual concepts flow from my own internal nature to connect with the nature within you and the wider world.

This piece depicts a cell of life within the universe: a sacred space where we shed our earthly selves to become part of a grander environment. It embodies heavenly bliss and the collective knowledge of our ancestors, capturing the totality of who we were, who we are, and all that we will become.
